Bihar Engineering Colleges facing shortage of teachers
The students of various engineering colleges of Bihar are force to face a unique kind of problem. Their examination is at hand but their syllabus for the course has not been finished so far. Reason, there is a huge shortage of teachers in the engineering colleges of State. It is the actual face of education and development of Bihar for which state government tries to highlights as everything is on track.
The situation has become so grim, that there are only 75 teachers are available.According to Education Department official, there are only 75 teachers against the sanctioned strength of over 500 teachers for Government colleges in Bihar.
Obviously if the strengths is in such a situation, the syllabus has been badly affected by this. AS teachers are not able to complete the syllabus on time yet students are force to appear for the exams on regular schedule. According to engineering college official of Gaya district, "Most engineering colleges don't have enough teachers" that is affecting their studies badly.
If Muzaffarpur and Bhagalpur engineering colleges keeps aside then the condition in other states are more worse as the maximum number of teachers in those colleges are not more then 10. The biggest colleges like Gaya, Darbhanga and Motihari are among them.
Whatever the current situation is at last it's badly affecting the student?s career. If we believe to student's statement there is acute shortage of teachers in colleges due to that they have not been provided proper classes for laboratory and other workshop activities.
