10ft long tigress-lion hybrid Hercules named world's biggest cat!

London, Sept. 17 (ANI): A liger, a hybrid between a male lion and a tigress, measuring 10 feet in length and weighing in at 922 pounds, has been dubbed the world's largest feline.

The cat, named Hercules, who lives at the Myrtle Beach Safari wildlife preserve in South Carolina, is the newest edition in the Guinness Book of World Records, Metro.co.uk reported.

Hercules is 131 inches long and measures 49 inches tall.

Ligers can grow to twice the size of their parents and weigh about a hundred times more than the average house cat. (ANI)
