Lahore, Aug 20 (ANI): Recalled Pakistan Test wicketkeeper Sarfraz Ahmed has said that he is looking forward to the golden opportunity of representing his team, created by a last minute medical problem to Umar Akmal.
According to The Nation, Sarfraz, 26, was dumped from the Pakistan team after team's disastrous tour of South Africa last season.
The wicketkeeper said that he was determined to change fortunes with good performances and while the rest of the team left for Harare Sunday night, Sarfraz is still awaiting visa to fly out to Zimbabwe, the report said.
He thanked the selectors for once again reposing confidence in him and he was eager and keen to get a permanent place in the national team through a fine display with the gloves and the bat, the report added. (ANI)
