Imran Khan vows to abandon 'American war' in Pakistan, if voted to power

Peshawar, May 5 (ANI): Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan has promised that his party would abandon the war on terror as "it was an American war being fought on Pakistan's soil", if his party is voted to power.

The Daily Times quoted Khan, as saying that he would also order the army to shoot down US drones if it crosses the Pakistani border.

After coming into power, he said that he would maintain zero tolerance against corruption, nepotism and injustice in the society and introduce reforms in police, local government and revenue systems for the socio-economic uplift of masses.

He further said that the establishment of peace in Khyber Pakthunkhwa and Federally Adminsitered Tribal Areas (FATA) would be his top priority. (ANI)
