Singapore, April 24 (ANI): Japan's leading logistics firm Sagawa Express has been expanding its footsteps by covering the entire Asia.
While inaugurating its Asia headquarters in Singapore on Tuesday, Eiichi Kuriwada, the chairman of Sagawa, said the company will spend over a billion dollars through mergers and acquisitions (MandA) in the next three years.
Established in ancient city of Kyoto, the company has already established a safe and reliable home delivery network across Japan.
Making a firm declaration at the launch, Kuriwada invited companies from Asia and Japan to be partner in the expansion of logistics business.
Sagawa's expansion will open new job avenues, especially for women drivers, in the Asian continent. The company has already 3,000 women drivers on the job, who have a major role in safe delivery of goods.
"Sagawa has 50 years of experience in Japan and has developed its reach to 10 countries with 24 corporations", said Naosuke Kawasaki, Managing director of the company.
He added, "By using sophisticated technology which is cultivated in Japan, Sagawa will satisfy the demand of all Asian customers".
Sagawa has a strong point in the field of B to B delivery business.
The objective is to cover 80 to 90 percent area of world trading in the major countries in the next few years. (ANI)
