Peshawar,Mar. 18 (ANI): The Pakistani Taliban have suspended peace talks with the Pakistani government, claiming that they are "not serious" with the peace initiative.
Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) spokesperson Ehsanullah Ehsan said that the militant organisation has suspended talks with the government and claimed that the army and government were not serious in conducting peace dialogue and talks, reports The Dawn.
Earlier last month the proscribed militant group, which has waged war against the state since 2007, had announced its willingness for conditional peace talks with the country's top three politicians as guarantors for the dialogue. (ANI)
