London, Feb. 11 (ANI): Angry passengers on a British Airways flight have complained that boozed-up off-duty crew behaved uncontrolled during the flight.
Drunken stewards and stewardesses sparked uproar after drinking bottles of champagne and red wine in front of stunned onlookers in First and Club premium cabins.
According to the Sun, passengers complained after the BA staff began screaming and shouting 'like spoiled brats'.
Airline chiefs have started investigating the incident, which came as the off-duty crew flew from London to Washington to pick up other flights on January 26.
Passengers had paid up to7,500 pounds per seat and were unable to sleep. After complaints to the on-duty purser, the crew was told they could have no more to drink, which sparked an almighty row, the report said.
One onlooker said that the crew was behaving like drunken spoilt brats and were incredibly unprofessional.
He added that they were running up and down the aisles, falling over and disturbing passengers. They let the airline down badly.
A BA spokesman later apologized to the passengers and said that they were investigating the matter and will take any appropriate action, it added. (ANI)
