Bangalore, Feb. 7 (ANI): The makers of the Drone aircraft on Thursday showcased their latest models at the Aero India show-2013 here to woo the world's biggest arms importer.
Drones are an increasingly common sight in the skies over Afghanistan and the Middle East, where the CIA uses them to hunt down Al Qaeda and Taliban militants.
The U.S. government has dramatically increased its use of drone aircraft abroad in recent years to target Al Qaeda figures in far-flung places from Pakistan to Yemen.
Drones are also finding takers away from the battlefield, as they come down in size, in complexity and above all in price, they are finding all sorts of new and unexpected roles in the civilian world. Even the smallest ones can carry out quite sophisticated tasks and carry all sorts of payloads. (ANI)
