Kolkata, Feb 2 (IANS) Paint major Berger Paints Saturday announced a 57.14 percent hike in its consolidated net profit for the quarter ended Dec 31 to Rs.77 crore as against Rs.49 crore in the corresponding period in the previous year.
The Kolkata-based company's net sales and other operating income for the quarter under review stood at Rs.920 crore as against Rs.783 crore in the same period a year ago, registering an increase of 18 percent.
Earnings before depreciation, interest and tax for the third quarter of the current fiscal were Rs.117 crore as against Rs.85 crore in the corresponding quarter last fiscal, a company release said here.
On a standalone basis, net sales and other operating income for the quarter ending Dec 31 stood at Rs.822 crore as against Rs.703 crore in the corresponding quarter a year ago.
