Washington, Jan. 29 (ANI): American politician Sarah Palin had been paid 15.85 dollars per word, amounting to a reported one million dollars annually, as a contributor to Fox News, according to a study.
The former Governor of Alaska had signed a three-year contract with Fox, during which she spoke 189,221 words in 151 appearances, according to a study from Smart Politics, a project undertaken by the Humphrey School of Public Affairs under the University of Minnesota, Politico reports.
Eric Ostermeir from Humphrey's said that Palin had an average appearance of once every 7.2 days during the three years she was with Fox, appearing in the network's studio through telephone, a pre-taped interview or satellite. (ANI)
