Jaipur, Jan 19 (IANS) A seven-year-old girl was raped by two men in Rajasthan Saturday, police said Saturday. One accused was arrested.
The girl was found bleeding and unconscious Saturday morning in Matsya Industrial Area in Alwar town, some 150 km from Jaipur.
"The victim, who belongs to a village near the town, left home in search of her father after sunset and came to a bus stop. There she met Jagdish Kumar and Pappu, both aged 20 years, and asked them if they had seen her father," said a police officer.
The duo took the girl to an isolated spot on the pretext of taking her to her father and raped her, he added.
"The girl was rescued in the morning by passersby who informed police and the family members," said the officer.
"We have arrested Pappu," the officer added.
