Opposition should abstain from befooling the people of Delhi: Sheila

Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit has said that her government is not in to making hallow promises rather it works for a better future for the people. She was laying foundation stone for the two sub ways at Rohtak Road near Multan Nagar and Mharaja Agrsen Hospital. Delhi PWD Minister Sh Raj kumar Chauhan and were present on this occasion.
On the occasion chief minister said that her governmnet has been always thinking of the future needs. This enables her to ensure overall planned development across Delhi. She reiterated that the city government is not in to making hallow promises wnich has become an integral part of the heritage of a major opposition party in the capital city. Their modus operandi is limited to befooling the residents of Delhi by taking up sentimental issues.
The sub ways would be commissioned with in eight months with an estimated cost of Rs 8.4 Crore. The sub ways would have lifts and power back and would go a long way in overcoming accidents of the pedestrians on the road. She also referred to the regularisation of the colonies and added that the residents would gradually reap benefits out of this historical decision.
