Parliamentary Secretary to the Chief Minister, CLP Spokesperson Mukesh Sharma has stated that it is strange that certain persons are putting questions on the Delhi Government's decision of regularizing unauthorized colonies and subsequent steps to provide amenities of such colonies after regularization. Sharma added that such persons are unaware of bare facts and they have no legal rights to put question mark on City Government's action.
He was addressing a meeting of task force held n in respect of land on which all remaining colonies exists would be decided by December 2012.
On the occasion, Shamra clarified those remaining colonies where property transactions have not yet been allowed, may not be treated as colonies came up on Government land.
He added that Congress Government has always accepted colonies came up on agriculture land as colonies on private land. Apart from this, the Government has also accepted those colonies as colonies on private land, which were vested undergram sabha as per Section 81 and Section 81A.
Sharma further stated that as per notification dated 5th October, 2007, it has been stated that agriculture land vested under gram sabha as per Section 81 would be treated as private land in case Government has not taken possession of the land.
The Revenue Department has to submit a report on status of land colony-wise. The Government on receipt of such report would take colony-wise further action. The actions on the part of the MCDs would not be stalled due to definition regarding status of land.
