To facilitate smooth traffic management in the vicinity of Krishi Bhawan and Shastri Bhawan on Dr. Rajender Prasad Road, Delhi Traffic Police will implement a modified pattern of traffic circulation at R/A Krishi Bhawan and Raisina Road from 17-09-2012. Following changes will be operationalised for smoother traffic flow.
According to Satyendra Garg, Joint CP/Traffic, the following changes have been made for the smooth and better traffic in the area. According to new arrangements, no vehicular traffic to enter Dr. Rajender Prasad Road from round about Krishi Bhawan.
Motorists intending to go towards Krishi Bhawan, Shastri Bhawan and Dr. Rajender Prasad Road to take Raisina Road turn on the link road near the Press Club of India and then proceed to destined places, he added.
He said that vehicles to exit from Dr. Rajendra Prasad Road towards R/A Krishi Bhawan in a one-way pattern. Advisory traffic signages at appropriate locations will be placed for the guidance of the motorists and adequate traffic staff will be deployed to ensure smooth and uninterrupted flow of traffic. Motorists should follow the new traffic pattern and follow instructions of the traffic police.
