Government has expands the sphere of higher education in Delhi:CM

Delhi Chief Minister has stated that her Government has expanded the sphere of higher education by commissioning four new universities in the capital city. Apart from this, it has taken care of the problems being faced by the students while commuting from their place of residence to university by deploying more U special buses and taking Delhi Metro route up to the entrance of Delhi University.

Dikshit was interacting with hundreds of students lead by NSUI President Rohit Choudhary and General Secretary and Spokesperson Ankit Sharma gathered at her residence to convey thanks for a decision to set up five fast track courts in Delhi to settle cases related to sexual assault on women.

Speaking on this occasion, Dikshit that Delhi is the first city in the country where women technical university named after the greatest women of her times, Smt. Indira Gandhi is being commissioned very soon. She further stated that girls have always been scoring better than the boys in CBSE exams in the Delhi.

The student leaders stated that the fast track courts would be able to convict the persons involved in sexual assault cases at the earliest. They further stated that the City Government is sensitive towards the expectations of women.

It has taken several important decisions in the direction of women welfare. More than hundred GRCs have been instrumental in women empowerment of more than two lakh common women.
