Ramlila ground all set for another Baba Ramdev movement

When Nine August has the historical importance day in the history of India when Quit India Movement was started exactly 70 years before, the Ramlila ground of capital has another reason this time. Yoga Guru Ramdev is once again going to start his much hyped campaign against black money and corruption on the same day. After the setback held in last year when police crackdown witnessed in the Ramlila ground during the fast by Ramdev, it is another occasion for Yoga Guru to make the movement a memorable.

However workers and members of Bharat Swabhiman Trust and other agencies are leaving no stone unturned to turn the campaign into a mega movement and all the arrangements have been done at Ramleela grounds.When the preparations have been on the way for final touch at the Ramlila ground, supporters of Ramdev have already started gathering here.

Entire grounds have been filled with the colorful posters of Baba Ramdev and his movement.

According to S.K. Tijarawala, agitation will begin from Aug 9 but people will start gathering today itself. Metal detectors have come up at entry and exit points to screen visitors, who are expected to flood the ground in the heart of the city. Green colour carpets are being laid. Around 5,000 volunteers will work round the clock to ensure that nothing went amiss.

Ved Pratap Vaidik and Rakesh Mittal said in a press conference that Baba Ramdev will leave for capital from Ahmedabad from 6 a.m. He will first go the Rajghat and pay homage to Rashtrapita Mahatma Gandhi. After this he will visit Saheedi Park where he will pay homage to Bhagat Singh and other martyars.

They said that Ramdev will reach Ramlila ground about 10 a.m. and then the protest will start.

In a question about the participation of Anna Hazare in the movement, Vaidik said that they have send invitation to all and there is not any reason for Anna for not to visit here.

Security is once again a significant issue and major arrangement has been done for this. It has been said that around 60 CCTV cameras will be installed in the ground and apart from this metal detectors and baggage scanners will also be placed on all the entry and exit points. Delhi Police have given the permission to host 30,000 people a day.

It is noted that the much-hyped fast by Yoga Guru Baba Ramdev against the black money and corruption is scheduled to be begin from 9 August in Ramlila Ground. The fast is of very important for Baba Ramdev and his movement as after the unsuccessful and thin responses shown by people to the Team Anna?s fast at Jantar Mantar last month last month, it is significant for Baba Ramdev to turn the movement as success.
