London Olympic 2012: Andy Murry defeats Roger Federer in Tennis final

Englishman Tennis star Andy Murray, who lost to World no.1 Tennis star Roger Federer last time here at Wimbledon Grand slam Tennis tournament, took his revenge to the same rival in the final match of London Olympics 2012 on Sunday.

Murray won Gold medal in Men's Singles' Tennis event by defeating swiss sensation 6-2, 6-1, 6-4 in the same manner which he had got few days ago.

The Scot dominated in almost every department, outscoring Federer on the forehand and backhand and keeping unforced errors to a minimum.

Murray's gold is Britain's first medal in Olympic tennis since 1920 and first men's singles medal since Josiah Ritchie won gold in London 104 years ago.

The bronze medal went to Argentina's Juan Martin del Potro, who beat Serbia's Novak Djokovic 7-5, 6-4.
