Joker movie Review: Its just 'What a Joke'

Shirish Kunder directorial movie "Joker", starring Akshay Kumar and Sonakshi Sinha has hit the cinema hall today on Friday. And after watching "Joker" you can say "What a Joke". The movie has completely failed to mark an impression on the minds of the audiences. Though, Kunder tried to make a comedy movie but at last made a funny movie instead.

The movie revolves around a highly remote village of India "Paglapur" filled with antic people who behave madly to each other. Akshay kumar plays the role of an American scientist Agastya who is investigating the existence of aliens in the universe. Agastya belongs to Paglapur and visits his native with his girlfriend Diva (Played by Sonakshi Sinha). During this coarse of time he Agastya discovers that his village Paglapur is so remotely located that it even does not exists on the map of India. The village doses not have the proper facility of water and electricity and observing the condition of his village Agastya decides to do something for the village. Then, Agastya plans to grab the attention of the authorities by creating a hoax of alien's invasion in the village. Things were running accordingly as per the plan for the village when Agastya's nemesis, an undercover American agent finds the true story and spoils the plan. This is how the story runs for Jokers of Paglapur.

Talking about the performances, the hit duo of this years blockbuster Rowdy Rathore could not take the film anywhere due to weak script. Though, Akshay is good enough with his role with Sonakshi complimenting him parallelbut Shreyas Talpade is not impressive but has tried his best. The aliens of Joker are not atall sweet as Jaadu of 'Koi Mil Gaya' but they look like monsters and furious.

Overall, Joker is not at all fun to watch due to weak script and shaky direction.
