"English Vinglish" trailer, story, release date, and cast

Magical and gorgeous Sridevi who once ruled bollywood with her evergreen and power packed performances is all set to make her appearance in the silver screen after a long break of 14 years with the release of her upcoming movie "English Vinglish" later this year.

The first look of Sridevi?s English Vinglish was revealed recently on 15 June 2012 as a theatrical teaser showing Sridevi reading out the Censor certificate of the film's trailer. Directed by Gauri Shinde, 'English Vinglish' is all set to release in India in three languages including Hindi, Tamil and Telugu. The film will hit the screens on October 5, 2012

The newest stills from the movie was also revealed that features Sridevi looking gorgeous in her simple and traditional saaree.

As the trailer shows Sridevi plays the character of a housewife in the movie and her husband and children always makes fun of her spoken English. But the humiliation became out of acceptance when her Husband makes fun of her saying "My wife was born to make laddoos"

Thereafter, her niece motivates her to learn English saying you are not born for making ladoos only. After that, she makes a call to a English Tuition centre in New York City.

The trailer shows a sequence when the visa officer asks Sridevi how she would manage in the US without knowing English and instantly his Indian co-worker defends her saying the officer'Just how you survive in India without knowing Hindi?" She flies for New York to learn English to please her Husband and children and the story moves ahead.

Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan will also be seen in a guest appearance in "English Vinglish".Sridevi has recently celebrated her 49th birthday and her fans are eagerly waiting her to see on the cinemas again. The movie also features French actor Mehdi Nebbou, Adil Hussain, and Priya Anand.
