Baba Ramdev ends his hunger strike, attacks PM

Yoga guru Baba Ramdev finally broke his hunger strike on Tuesday after much drama earlier in the morning. Ramdev ended his 6 days fast at 11 am on Tuesday. Ramdev broke his fast with a glass of juice offered by a boy and a girl. Later, Ramdev was sent to Haridwar.

"I am only ending my fast but the protest will go on till my last breath", Ramdev said. Attacking the Congress, he raised slogans like "Congress hatao, desh bachao" in his long speech addressing the crowed. He said all the political parties are supporting him on the issue of black money except congress.

"If there would be a voting in the parliament against corruption, Congress would have lost. We are not leaving the place defeated but we have achieved victory with all political parties supporting the movement", he said.

Targeting Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, Ramdev said he should be politically honest for brining back black money stashed abroad.

Earlier on Monday, Ramdev was detained by police with thousand of supporters while they were marching towards parliament to protest against black money and corruption. Police took them to Ambedkar Stadium near ITO where a temporary jail was set up. Though, the Ramdev and his supporters were set free in the evening but Ramdev refused to leave Ambedkar Stadium saying he will not end his fast.
