Tibet Tourism Park to be themed on ancient princess

A soon to be developed tourism park in Tibetan capital Lhasa will feature attractions based on the ancient Chinese princess who tied knots with a Tibetan king when she was 16. The princess also brought a dowry of numerous treasures that includes golden furniture.
As per history of China, Princess Wencheng, daughter of Emperor Li Shimin of the prosperous Tang Dynasty (618-907 A.D.), married Tibetan King Songtsan Gambo.
According to the report published in Xinhua the princess travelled 3,000 km from central China to her new home.
The city government of Lhasa will build this park with an investment of 30 billion yuan. The construction of the park will complete in three to five years.
With construction of this park which is going to take place on an area of eight square km, Tibet's tourism credentials will increase manifold.
The park will also introduce the services like outdoor performances and educational and entertainment programmers tracing the footsteps of the princess in Tibet.
