UPSC IPS limited competitive examination result 2012 declared

UPSC has declared the results of IPS limited competitive examination 2012. The results are available on the UPSC website http://www.upsc.gov.in

Soon the Ministry of home affairs will inform the successful candidates regarding date, time and venue of the medical examination. The successful candidates are required to produce the original documents in support of educational qualification and other things at the time of personality test.

The concept of limited competitive examination was introduced by the ministry of home affair after finding a large number of IPS post vacant in the various cadres. If the recruitment will be made through IPS limited competitive examination it will fill the vacancies to a great extent and strengthen the administration.
