In shocking incidents, which mocked the tight law and order situation in Patna, the brother-in-law of the former RJD MP Subhash Yadav was shot dead with his servant in capital by unidentified assailants. According to sources both the victims were shot by close range.
Deceased Pankaj alias Pappu Yadav was recovered in a field behind Digha police station. His servant Bablu was also found dead in his Aashiana Nagar residence on Tuesday.
It is noted that Pankaj is the son-in-law of Subhash Yadav who is the younger brother of former chief minister of Bihar Rabri Devi.
Police sources say that both the victims were shot dead by close range. Police have begun investigation into the case and it has been investigating the matter from all possible angles.
