Anna, Ramdev to hold day-long fast against corruption on Sunday

Gandhian leader and anti-corruption activist Anna Hazare is supposed to meet Baba Ramdev today in Delhi, before his scheduled day-long fast at Jantar Mantar on Sunday.

Baba Ramdev and Anna Hazare will sit on a day-long fast on Sunday June 3, 2012, from where Baba Ramdev will start his anti-graft crusade and take it to the different parts of the country.

Previously the two had addressed separate press conferences and attacked the ruling UPA; Ramdev attacked PM for weakening the democratic set up of the government while Hazare said that he has lost his faith in Manmohan Singh.

Ramdev also questioned PM's political honesty. He said that the simultaneous protest will be organized in state capitals too.

Baba Ramdev has added that he has been given permission for a 5,000 people but there will be three to four thousand people accompanying him.

Apart from these two, team Anna members also Arvind Kejriwal, Manish Sisodia and Kiran Bedi will also be present there.

This anti-graft protest is being staged in the wake of Team Anna's allegations of corruption on Manmohan Singh and 14 of his cabinet ministers.
