Sisters locked for month in their house, rescued

In shocking incidents in the Capital, Delhi Police have rescued two sisters who have locked up themselves for several months. It is said that family was suffering from financial crisis and police rescued both of them with wounds over the whole body from their house in Rohini sector-8.

According to sources, both the sisters Mamta (40) and Neerja(29) had locked themselves inside their home for many month with the Mamta?s 15 years old son. Police rescued them after their brother approached to neighbors and NGO for their help.

Family was suffering from financial crisis and all the members were found in severely malnourished state.

Both the sisters were lived with their mother Nirmala and Mamta's 15 years old son. After rescuing members got admitted in nearby Delhi's government's Baba Saheb Ambedkar Hospital. According to Doctors they are not critical but grossly malnourished. They were so week that it was impossible to measure their blood pressure.

It is noted that there was a similar case in April 2011 in Noida when two sisters in their forties, were rescued from their home where they had locked themselves in for months after their father's death and were found starving.
