Colour code to decide whether the text message is good or bad

Now, the colours of the text messages will tell you whether the message good or bad. A group of researchers in Britain have developed a new application that will give specific color code to texts messages, tweets and emails which will allow the receivers to know whether the information in the message is good, bad or in between both.
Researchers at the University of Portsmouth in the UK call it 'sentiment analysis'. To develop the application, an algorithm has been designed to determine whether a mobile communication will make you happy, with a message like 'Hey, we can have dinner tonight!' or bummed, with messages saying 'I am so angry at you!', or indifferent with messages like, 'I need you to pick up the kids at 5.'
If the message has a positive sense, it will be highlighted in green and if it has some negative sense, the color will be red. In case, the messages has no such good or bad sense, then it will be shown as blue, The Los Angeles Times reports.
Though, the application comes 'pre-trained,', the users can also manipulate it as per their own perception and parameter of negative and positive by labelling messages as they come in.
The basic objective behind developing this application is to 'make the user aware of the negative contents they receive so they are able to manage their stress in the best possible way' said Mohamed Medhat Gaber, who worked on the project to BBC.
As per the report, the technology has been tested only on a few Android phones till now and the launch of this application to the market has not been declared yet.
