Rejecting the plea of veteran Congress leader Narayan Dutt Tiwari seeking to quash Delhi High Court's order to collect his blood sample for paternity test forcefuly, if he refused to give it willingly, the Supreme Court on Wednesday directed Tiwari to submit his blood sample on May 29.

A bench of two judges comprising Justice Deepak Verma and Justice S.J. Mukhopadhyay directed Dehradun Civil Hospital to send pathalogists along with district judge to his house for collecting his blood sample on May 29 and also order to maintain confidentiality in the entire process.

"If you are clean, go and give the blood sample. If you don't want physical force, go and comply with the High Court order," said the bench.

SC's order came in hearing the plea of Tiwari, who moved to Supreme Court seeking to quash the order of Delhi HC.

The collected blood would be kept in a sealed cover and send to Hyderabad laboratory to finger print the DNA that will decide whether Narayan Dutt is a biological father of Rohit Shekhar or not.

Earlier, Delhi High Court had directed former CM of Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand to give blood sample willingly by May 26.

If he refused to do so, the court allowed administration to use force against him.
