Go Tech eyes Indian Tablet market with Android Funtab Fusion and Fonetab

Go Tech a New Delhi based tablet company has launched two budget tablets Funtab Fusion and Fonetab in Indian market that boasts a 7-inch screen and operates on Android-based operating system. Go Tech wants to sell 10,000 units of these two devices till the next quarter.

The two tablets that are launched are Funtab Fusion and Fonetab at Rs 3,999 and Rs 6,999 respectively. Fonetab is rated more because it has a SIM card slot.

Here are the specifications of both Funtab Fusion and Fonetab tablets:

Both Funtab Fusion and Fonetab sport a 7-inch Resistive Touchscreen. This TFT-LCD is 16:9 wide and has a resolution support of 800 x 480. Both these tablets have an 800 Mhz CPU.

Funtab Fusion operates on Android 2.3 Operation system Fonetab operates on Android 2.2 operating system.

Funtab Fusion has a 256MB RAM while its superior has 512MB RAM. Fusion has a 2GB NAND FLASH internal memory while Fonetab has 4GB Nand Flash memory though both can be expanded up to 32 GB using micro SD card slot. Both have LAN 10/100M Ethernet Access.

Funtab Fusion comes preloaded with Wi-Fi (802.11b/g) and Bluetooth 2.0. It supports 3G via External Dongle. The output ports include an USB Port, a TF CARD slot and 3.5 mm audio jack. It has a front VGA camera and has a support for JPEG / BMP / GIF. It can support MP2, MP3, WAV, AAC, WMA, MPEG1/2/4, MJPG, H263 and H264. It runs on a 2800mAh battery.

Fonetab on the other hand comes with Wi-Fi (802.11b/g IEEE802.11b/g) and Bluetooth 2.1. It has a SIM card slot to make a phone call and has a GSM 900/1800 frequency support. It also has a front VGA camera and a support JPEG / BMP / GIF. The output ports include an USB Port 2.0, a mini USB 2.0, TF CARD slot and a 3.5 mm audio jack.
It has a support for MP2, MP3, WAV, AAC, WMA, MPEG1/2/4, MJPG, H263 and H264. It runs on a 3600mAh battery.
