Delhi HC allows police to take blood sample by force from ND Tiwari if he refuses

Giving the final ultimatum and citing it "open contempt of court" the Delhi High Court on Wednesday allowed police to carry Narayan Dutt Tiwari in the court for taking blood sample in order to conduct paternity test.

A bench of judges expressed their anger over non-cooperative behaviour of veteran Congress leader and announced that court officials would decided on Monday when Tiwari would have to submit his blood sample.

The court officials would ensure that blood samples are collected from the politician, Rohit Shkehar, who has accused Tiwari as being his biological son and his mother, Ujjwala, said HC.

Rohit Shekhar (32) has filled a writ in the court seeking to prove his identity and asking the share in Tiwari?s property and assets.

Tiwari, who has served as Governor of Andhra Pradesh and Chief Minister of Uttarakhand and Uttar Pradesh has showed his reluctance to give his blood sample for determining the DNA test earlier two times.
