Yeddyurappa confirms 'not to' leaving BJP; but fight for his dignity continues
Former Chief Minister of Karnataka and strong Lingayat leader of Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) B S Yeddyurappa (BSY), after holding a meeting to his loyalists, confirmed to media that at present he was not going to leave the party but would continue to fight to get his prestige and position back with living in the party.
After convening meeting to his supporters, BSY today said in a press conference that he has deferred his decision of quitting the party but he said, Gowda could not govern in the state as he has a strong support of 50 to 52 MLAs in the state.
Calling Gowda a failure CM, Yeddyurappa alleged, " The Chief Minister is a failure. He should have resigned long ago?Gowda has betrayed the MLAs who made him the CM."
Targeting to senior Party leader Anant Kumar, Yeddyurappa said that Gowda and Anant Kumar have tried to down grade his position in the party. " Anantkumar made efforts to topple me from the chief ministership at least thrice earlier with the help of mine owners. Ananthkumar is gunning to be the Chief Minister of Karnataka," he said.
Targeting to Central command, former BJP CM said, "Except Arun Jaitley, none have tried to make me a call."
"Only Jaitley communicated to him many times," he added.
