Rahul to review Congress debacle in UP

Congress general secretary Rahul Gandhi will review the poor performance of the party in the recent UP assembly election. In coming few days Gandhi will meet all the newly elected MLA, M.P and other leaders who were played their role actively during the election. The whole exercise is aimed to strengthen the party and making base for the forthcoming Lok Sabha poll in 2014.

During the meeting Gandhi will meet those candidates who secured more than 20,000 votes. Apart from these all the M.L.A. will be interact with Gandhi during the meeting.

It is noted that Rahul Gandhi had lead the party campaign in the UP election and a lot was on board. Although after the results declared he tool the responsibility for the defeat and poor performance. Congress won 28 of 403 assembly seats in the state.

It has been indicated that Gandhi has stressed on the strengthening the party in the state. The poor organisational structure of the party is a cause of concern for the party and Gandhi has admits this earlier.
