MI vs KXIP: Sachin comeback didn't change the fate

Kings XI Punjab sealed a 6-wicket win over Mumbai Indians in yesterday match played in Wankhede Stadium. Though the win didn't come easy but it was Marsh unbeaten half century that saw his side winning the match.

Batting first Mumbai put a score of 163 runs thanks to the help of Franklin's 79 in 51 balls. Praveen kumar and Awana took 2 wickets each. Piyush Chawla also bowled well his 4 overs giving away just 19 runs though he didn't get the wicket.

While chasing, all Punjab batsmen contributed well. However Pollard made the chase difficult by giving just 14 runs and taking 2 wickets in his 4 overs. But Shaun Marsh unbeaten 68 in 40 balls helped Punjab reached the score with 3 balls remaining in the match.

It's the third win of Kings XI Punjab in their 7 matches and they are in 7th position while Mumbai Indians are in 6th position with 3 wins and 3 losses.

Sachin Tendulkar made 23 before getting run out. Shaun Marsh received the man of the match for his splendid performance with bat.
