Review of not so bold Hate Story

Yup, no matter how big the hypes were made for this film, it is definitely not the boldest film ever. Although there are few love making scenes but they are nothing erotic.

Hate story is completely based on the vengeance as the director and producer already said but the way revenge is taken is completely illogical and some times its feels like you should have kept your brain home.

The film starts when Kavya, a young and aspiring journalist does a string operation on a cement company. The company's owner who also happens to be Siddhart's father asks him to handle the things within 12 hours, why so, doesn't matter doesn't care.. Then Siddhart being the MD of the company somehow manages to convince the CEO to take the blame on his head and befriends Kavya to seek revenge. "I ...k those who ...k with me" he says after taking her to his bed and destroying her career.

Gulshan as Siddhart is the only spark of the film besides Paoli, he fits in superbly in the character and lives the character well.

But the most absurd part of the film is when Kavya decides to become a whore to seek her revenge!!! No idea why she does so, is there no other way or and as she is so shrewd (shown in the picture) can't she take revenge without sleeping with different people.

Paoli who is debuting in Bollywood with this film is bold real bold, she has no problem in showing skin and plays the role real comfortably. Nikhil who plays the role of Vicky a friend and secret lover of Kavya has done when in his small role.

Whatever, film moves on as she climbs the step toward her ultimate goal. No big thrill in that. The film can be a one time watch and might earn profit for the producer just because of OKAY story, a few glimpse of bold scenes and a little bit of acting. Only song people will remember while coming out is 'Dil Kaanch Sa Todeyan'.
