New Delhi, Sat, 21 Apr 2012 NI Wire

After securing a majority in all trifurcated MCD corporations, Chief of Delhi BJP Vijendra Gupta has now written a letter to Union Home Minister P Chidambaram seeking permission to let the civic body function as one unit until Centre frames a clear cut policy, direction, rules and regulations for the separate entities.

BJP has won clear mandate in North and East civic bodies and became the biggest party in South civic body which has got supports from its rebel candidates and it is clear that BJP will now administer in all three civic bodies.

Accusing the Congress governments decision of trifurcating the Delhi Corporation, Vijendra Gupta said in his letter that It was hasty decision of Central and Delhi government.

He demanded to decentralisation of the civic body be allowed only after the doubts on various points had been addressed citing that it would be very difficult to run the affairs of the three corporations and we shall have to face serious, legal, financial, human and social problems.
