196 on board thanks to great performances by top four batsmen of Deccan Chargers aroused hope in their fans for some movement but Rajasthan Royals fought hard and managed a remarkable win over DC.
Winning the toss and choosing to bat first, all top four Deccan batsmen, Sangakkara (44), Dhawan (52), Daniel Christian (29) and Duminy (58) contributed well to make a massive score of 196.
Rajasthan started well, with Dravid playing contrary to his style and making 42 runs in just 24 balls. Rahane again contributed 44 but it was Brad Hodge who took Rajasthan for their second consecutive win.
With this win Rajasthan are now on the top of the point table with 4 wins in 6 matches while Deccan sit last with 3 consecutive losses.
The 20th match, which was played in Sawai Mansingh stadium between Rajasthan Royals and Deccan Chargers, saw the former one winning with 5 wickets.
