Jalandhar girl Vanya Mishra has crowned as the Pantaloons Femina Miss India (PFMI) World 2012 title at a gala event.It was a 49th edition of the beauty peagent held in Mumbai. Now she will represent India at the global pageant. Rochelle Maria Rao from Chennai won the title of Miss India International, while Prachi Mishra from Pune is Miss India Earth.
Trio selected from the 20 girls by a jury consisting of film actress Sonam Kapur and Sonali Bendre. Other members of the jury were filmmakers Ekta Kapoor and Rohit Shetty, cricketer Harbhajan Singh, designer Raghavendra Rathore; singer Sonu Niigaam and TV actress Sakshi Tanwar.
Miss India 2011 title holders Kanistha Dhankhar, Hasleen Kaur and Ankita Shorey crowned the winners.
Now Vanya will represent India at the global pageant competition held in later this year. Prachi and Rochelle shall represent the country at Miss Earth 2012 Pagent and Miss International 2012 Pagent respectively.
