Signalling defects in peak hour strands Metro commuters

Due to a minor signalling defect, commuters of blue line section of Delhi Metro suffered a lot of trouble. Commuters were bound to strand because defects was occurred in the peak of morning when every one was on his way of offices or schools or college. A defect was noticed between the Line 3 that connects Noida and Vaishali with Dwarka, which is one of the busiest routes.

The signalling defect was notices between Pragati Maidan and Mandi House stations. As these stations comes in the route of Dwarka to Vaishali destinations, so passengers commuting with the route were bound to face troubles. It is noted that the line witnesses a daily footfall of six to seven lakh commuters.

In morning a major crowd was present on the Laxmi Nagar metro station for their train. But Metro officials and workers were used to saying that there may be some delay in the normal running. At last commuters were bound to take bus service or any other means due to the defects.

Some of the passengers understood that it was a traffic arrangement for the ongoing BRICS summit in the capital.
