NDMC paid tribute R.C.Aggarwal
North Delhi Municipal Corporation paid warm tributes to the great freedom fighter and first Deputy Mayor of Delhi, Lala Ram Charan Aggarwal. A simple function was organized at his statue installed at Ram Charan Aggarwal Chowk on Bahadurshah Zafar Marg. Leader of Opposition in NDMC, Mr. Mukesh Goel and former Deputy Mayor, Mr. Ramesh Datta paid glowing tributes to the departed leader. MLA, Mr. Veer Singh Dhigan and Mr. Vipin Sharma; Municipal Councillors, Mr. Devraj Aroda and various post holders in DPCC also paid floral tributes by garlanding his statue.
Paying glowing tributes to Lala Ram Charan Aggarwal, Leader of Opposition in NDMC, Mr. Mukesh Goel said that he was a great leader. He went to jail several times in the freedom struggle. He represented true culture of Delhi as he belonged to the walled city. He took keen interest in the development of the areas inhabited by poor sections of society viz. Jhuggi Jhopri clusters, private katars etc.
