New Delhi, Nov 29 (ANI): Models sashayed down the ramp wearing exquisite costumes designed by top Polish designers at a fashion show in New Delhi yesterday evening
Organized under the aegis of the Polish Fashion Institute in cooperation with the Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the fashion show also had Indian designers exhibiting their intricate designs and patterns.
Designers Pankaj and Nidhi also exhibited their current collection named 'Wyncinanki' inspired by Polish Folk Art.
The duo thanked a Polish institute also, co-organizing the fashion show and inviting them to Poland.
"We are very happy that you gave us the platform to showcase our collection on this special evening tonight. Thank you also to the Polish institute for giving us an invitation to visit Poland next year. So, that is something we are very excited about to maybe actually go to the villages and to the source of the inspiration," said Pankaj.
Meanwhile, Polish fashion designer, Maciej Zien said that he was inspired from the insect beetles for his collection.
"You can see very strong inspiration from the beetles. It not only represents the image of the beetles but also it has a style and a specific structure," said Zien.
Two other prominent Polish fashion designers Agnieszka Maciejak and Zou Corp also participated and put on display their fall winter collection. (ANI)
