New Delhi, Nov. 26 (ANI): Activist-turned-politician Arvind Kejriwal will formally launch his political party, 'Aam Aadmi Party', at the Parliament Street here on Monday.
Kejriwal, who had announced the name of his party on Saturday, earlier today visited Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi's memorial at the Rajghat here to pay his respects to him.
The activist-turned politician will also visit the B.R. Ambedkar Memorial at Alipore Road here to pay his respects to him. He will then remember those who bravely fought the terrorists in 26/11 Mumbai terror attack.
Kejriwal earlier in the day tweeted that 'today is a big day'.
" History in the making. Aam Aadmi comes together to directly jump in politics to throw out this corrupt political system," he said in his tweet.
The date of the launch of Kejriwal's party on November 26 is symbolic as the Constitution of India was adopted on this day in 1949.
Kejriwal, who has been elected as the Aam Aadmi Party's National Convenor, earlier on Sunday said that he will tour the country for the next one year to 'expose' the Congress and BJP while trying to convince people on why they should support his party.
Kejriwal also made a passionate plea to youth to join him full-time to bring about a revolutionary change in the country's political system. (ANI)
