Fear of spiders stopped Jermain Defoe from joining reality TV show

London, Nov. 25 (ANI): Jermain Defoe has revealed that he would have grabbed a chance to star in the reality show 'I'm A Celebrity,' if he wasn't scared of spiders.

The 30-year-old Tottenham striker is a massive fan of the ITV reality show.

"I think it's mad and great entertainment," the Sun quoted him as saying.

"I wish I could do it. It would be a huge challenge and I love a challenge. But, to be honest, I'm scared of spiders so I'd struggle in there.

"That's why I've got a lot of respect for the people who do it. Some of the things they have to do, you watch it and think 'Wow, man!'" he said. (ANI)
