Sydney, Nov 21(ANI): Fast bowler Doug Bollinger has not given up on breaking back into the Australia Test team and reckons he's fit and back in the form that won him a baggy green a couple of years ago.
While Bollinger has barely rated a mention when it comes to Australia's quicks, he's certainly moved up the pace pecking order in recent months because of his top form with the ball.
Bollinger was last seen sending the red ball down for Australia in Adelaide during the disastrous Ashes two years ago.
"I'm in a good space at the moment, and that's where I want to be," News.com.au quoted Bollinger, as saying.
"I try not to think about (Test cricket), but I'd like to think I'm closer (to a return) than I was 12 months ago. I just need to take a few more wickets and put a few games together. I feel my second, third and fourth spells are coming out as well as my first spell," he added.
"I've had a few chats with Michael (Clarke) when he's played games (for NSW). He was really positive and said to keep bowling well, keep turning up and if you keep going well, you never know," he said.
Bollinger has taken 50 wickets at 25.92 in 12 Test. (ANI)
