Cruise and Clooney sign on to sci-fi films

Washington, November 19 (ANI): Tom Cruise, George Clooney and Ashley Greene have all signed up to star in some creepy sci-fi film projects.

Cruise takes on aliens in the war flick All You Need Is Kill, Zimbio reported.

The film centers around Cruise's role as Lieutenant Colonel Bill Cage, a soldier who is caught in a time loop while he fights an alien race - and dies again and again - that has invaded Earth. Cruise's character is able to learn after each death, until he's able to defeat invaders. The movie is scheduled for a March 2014 release.

Meanwhile, Clooney is in talks to play the lead in 1952, a sci-fi flick about a man who contacts extra-terrestrial life on Earth, Variety reports.

After starring in the Twilight saga, Greene is no stranger to the supernatural.

She's been lined up for a role in Satanic, a horror movie that follows a group of college students who are attacked in their dormitory during Thanksgiving break, with the survivors on the hunt for their attackers. (ANI)
