Washington, Nov 17 (ANI): Barbara Bush, the wife of former US President George H.W. Bush, has urged fellow Republicans to 'move on' from Barack Obama's election victory.
"I'm tired now of the elections," the former First Lady of the US, who had endorsed Republican Mitt Romney, said.
"People spoke. Move on, get on with it. I want to do other things and not to be ugly," she added.
According to the Daily Mail, Barbara joined her daughter-in-law Laura Bush on a panel for the 'Enduring Legacies of America's First Ladies' conference at the Lyndon Baines Johnson Presidential Library.
The First Ladies avoided offering political opinions, but Barbara Bush did issue a stern warning to both Republicans and Democrats.
"They are going to have to compromise," the report quoted her, as saying.
"It's not a dirty word," she added. (ANI)
