Becks 'furious' with British Airway's pestering cabin crew

London, Sat, 17 Nov 2012 ANI

London, Nov. 17 (ANI): David Beckham got so angry with starstruck stewardesses who kept pestering him that he threatened to stop flying in British Airways (BA).

It all happened when a young "trolley dolly" took a photograph of him sleeping in first class - and woke him up with the flash.

"David will sign autographs and pose for pictures until the cows come home. He is well known for going the extra mile for fans," the Sun quoted a source as saying.

"Nevertheless it was a bit disconcerting watching young BA crew members queuing down the aisle for autographs during flights.

"His privacy must be respected, and being startled as he rested during a flight was the final straw," the source said.

After the incident BA bosses offered Beckham an unreserved apology.

"We have a very good relationship with David Beckham," a BA spokeswoman said. (ANI)
