Heidi Klum supports Malala (With Image)
London, Nov 11 (IANS) Supermodel Heidi Klum is the latest Hollywood celebrity to support teenage Pakistani activist Malala Yousafzai -- she was spotted wearing a t-shirt with "I am Malala" written on it.
"Please support Malala Yousafzai, a 14-year-old girl, who was shot because she wanted to go to school," Klum tweeted.
Malala, 15, who became a symbol of resistance against Taliban's anti-girl education stand, was shot in the head Oct 9. She is currently undergoing treatment in Britain.
Malala came to prominence in 2009 at the age of 11, when she started writing a diary for BBC Urdu about life under the Taliban.
The Taliban said they had targeted her for "promoting secularism".
Earlier Hollywood actress Angelina Jolie and singer Selena Gomez showed their support to the brave girl.
