Kuala Lumpur, Nov 5 (ANI): The Arabic version of Al-Qaeda's official website is still accessible in Malaysia.
The Malaysian network provider hosting the site had shut down the English language version of tawhed.net on Wednesday.
But the Arabic language version could not be shut down as it is being hosted on a separate server whose location is listed in the town of Secaucus in New Jersey, the United States, the Star reports.
Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission chairman Mohamed Sharil Tarmizi has said investigations were still ongoing.
"This shows how the operators can spread or move their websites to different countries," the report quoted him, as saying.
According to the report, the website contains a message from Ayman Al Zawahiri who is Al-Qaeda's current leader following the death of Osama bin Laden, as well as interviews with detained terrorist suspects. (ANI)
