84-year-old Chinese man takes up nude modelling as part time job
Kuala Lumpur, Oct 28 (ANI): An 84-year-old man from China has been reportedly disowned by his children because of his new job which requires him to pose nude in front of young art students.
Wang Xuzhong, who's wife died 15 years ago and lost his youngest son in 2007, lives alone on a monthly pension of 800 yuan, according to the reports.
While his oldest son visited him once a week, bringing clean clothes and some food, his two daughters used to see him once a month.
But after the revelation about his job, as a nude model- which requires him to hold a pose, naked, for 45 minutes in front of students, for which he is paid 60 to 100 yuan an hour- his children do not want to have anything to do with their father anymore.
The old man now reportedly earns about 1,400 yuan a month.
"Now, I am modelling for art, and it brings more happiness than ever. It's a career deserving respect," the Star Online quoted him as telling China Daily.
But he is not alone in this field. There are, apparently, many other senior citizens in China who are said to have taken up nude modeling. (ANI)
