Home Electronic Show 2012 kick starts in Delhi
The Home Electronic Show (HES) 2012 was inaugurated by Rajeev Shukla Union Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs and Maninderjeet Singh Bitta, chairman of the All-India Anti-Terrorist Front, and former chief of the Indian Youth Congress in New Delhi on Oct 26, 2012.
The Home Electronic Show (HES), organized ITEN Media in association with Consumer Electronics and Appliances Manufacturers Association (CEAMA) is India's biggest ever exhibition of Consumer Electronics, Home Appliances, ICT and digital lifestyle products.
"Manufacturing is the core of Indian Industry and we need to promote manufacturing in India to generate more and more employment opportunities. Most of the young people are still unemployed in our country and manufacturing sector has the potential to generate jobs for them", said Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs and Chairman of IPL.
"Government is planning for 10% GDP for the growth of infrastructure in the Country and the govt is keen to provide catapult to consumer good home supplying sector", he added.
M.P. Bitta, chairman of the All-India Anti-Terrorist Front congratulated CEAMA for organising a wonderful exhibition to promote consumer, digital and lifestyle goods in the country and abroad.
"Consumer Electronics and Home Appliances is now a 45,000 crores industry. It is an important part of the national economy and provides employment to hundreds of thousands of people in the country. The show would offer an unprecedented opportunity for the global consumer electronics and home appliances industry to exhibit and explore one of the most dynamic and showcase products, offerings, capabilities and innovations to the Indian consumer. Over 60 leading electronic and consumer goods brands including Godrej, Panasonic, LG, Haier, Samsung, Videocon,Whirlpool and many others will be displaying their products during the three day show that will run from October 26-28, 2012.
