Wasim Akram gives Pak team 'pep-talk' ahead of World T20 semi-final against Lanka

Karachi, Oct. 4 (ANI): Former Pakistan captain Wasim Akram has lectured the national team ahead of the semi-final against Sri Lanka.

The lecture was aimed at motivating the team ahead of the match, reports The Express Tribune.

Akram was part of the 1992 World Cup winning squad and also the captain when Pakistan lost the 1999 World Cup final to Australia at Lord's.

Pakistan Cricket Board chief Zaka Ashraf, who is in Sri Lanka for the World Twenty20, expressed his gratefulness to Akram for taking time out for the players and hoped that the team would benefit from the advice. (ANI)
